Watch the New 'Glee' Season 3 Promo: Glitter-Bombs and Food Fights (VIDEO) The latest "Glee" season three promo has hit, and it has some hints at what to expect from the coming season as well as a few hints at blossoming relationships.

What can we learn from the promo?

First off, it pushes the idea that season three will be a return to form for "Glee," promising a focus on the core group of characters as well as less new pop hits and more re-imagined classics.

You'll notice that this promo doesn't have a single appearance by Lauren (Ashley Fink) or Blaine (Darren Criss), who came on in bigger roles last season. Criss is now a series regular, so we'll be seeing plenty of him...but maybe not as much as you would expect.

As for the music, the promo is set to the kids singing "We Got the Beat" by the Go-Go's, as opposed to, say, their 50th Katy Perry cover. The creators of the show have told us that there will be more classic songs updated for the show and less brand-new pop, which I say is a bonus. Younger viewers might complain at first, but then again they're the same ones who went crazy over the "Glee" cover of "Don't Stop Believing."

For those on the Will/Emma bandwagon, we get a little hint that things are going well on that front as the two share a little kiss. A very little kiss. A peck, even. Well, it's something, isn't it?

We also see that the kids are still underdogs and still getting slushied. Considering Finn (Cory Monteith) is now a senior, you would think that he would be slushie-proof. Also, the farther along this show goes, the less I'm buying the convention that if you're in the glee club, you're a loser in everyone else's eyes. But, alas, where would the conflict be if not there? We can't get any convincing conflict between couples, so it lies in the high school struggle-to-fit-in trope.
