'New Girl' Season 4, Episode 13, 'Coming Out' Recap

Coach has found a loophole that he thinks will allow Jess and Ryan to stop hiding their relationship at work... which will enable him to continue hooking up with the teachers, who are all infatuated with Ryan.
Jess goes to the principal and he is fine with her and Ryan coming out into the open, but warns her the teachers are the ones she should worry about, especially given how much she cares about what people think about her.
Nick an his girlfriend take Schmidt to the doctor and find out that he keeps skipping his ulcer medication. Nick drags him home and tries to take care of the unruly patient. Schmidt and Nick argue about how Nick is too lazy and Schmidt works too hard. Nick makes attempts to prove he is not lazy. Schmidt goes back to work and finds out that his boss truly won't let him advance. He and Nick talk and decide to go into business together.
Jess announces her relationship with Ryan at work, and promises she won't show any favoritism. She asks for field trip proposals. They are all terrible, except Ryan's, of course. When she chooses Ryan's idea, there is an uproar. It goes on and on until she finally cancels Ryan's idea and picks another.
They go on a "field trip" but after a while it's clear that the children are just being used as manual labor to clear land. As Jess is trying to call the kids back, a wasp nest gets disturbed.
At the bar, covered in wasp stings, Coach and Jess speak with CeCe, who reminds Jess that she can't please everyone. Winston gives her a crystal he has been wearing that has given him courage. Coach finds that his disfigured face has gotten him back in with the female teachers, and Jess announces to everyone that she cares what they think, but she loves Ryan. Some decisions she makes will not make them happy, but they're in everyone's best interest.
He loves her too, for the record.
