New 'Game of Thrones' Trailer: Tyrion Meets a Dragon
by Andy Neuenschwander
On the list of things that people love about "Game of Thrones," Tyrion and dragons are near the top.
In the newest trailer for "Game of Thrones" season five, it looks like the two are going to meet.
That's just one juicy tidbit of the epic new trailer, which begins with Danaerys' speech about breaking "the wheel" of the ever-rotating balance of power between the major houses of Westeros. We also see some of Stannis Baratheon's plan (which is, apparently, to take the North), a bit of Arya's new life, and some of Jon Snow advocating for working with the Wildlings.
The trailer was released today as part of HBO's joint venture with Apple to push their new standalone streaming service, HBO Now. The service will be available without a cable subscription for $14.99 a month, but will be exclusive to Apple devices at launch before releasing to Android, Windows and other devices.
"Game of Thrones" season five premieres Sunday, April 12 at 9pm on HBO, HBO Go and HBO Now. Check out the trailer below:
