New 'Game of Thrones' Season 2 Trailer: The War of Five Kings

With April fast approaching, HBO is ramping up the publicity for "Game of Thrones" season two. That includes releasing this brand-new trailer, which is chock full of good stuff!

There's plenty of scheming and plotting in the trailer, as Tyrion tries to put eyes on Cersei and later frets about the safety of the Lannisters. But there's also a good deal of action, especially in the case of Jon Snow, who is looking to put that nice new sword of his to good use.

But the star of the trailer this time is Dany, who is clearly on the warpath now. "The time to strike is now," she announces, "the Starks fight the Lannisters, the Baratheons fight each other." There's a little preview of the conflicts we're looking at for season two, all with Dany and her dragons preparing to stake their claim to the throne. "When my dragons are grown," yells the newly confident Danerys, "we will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground!"

At least we know that the awful Cersei is starting to feel the pressure. "This is what ruling is," she cries, "lying on a bed of weeds and ripping them out before they strangle you in your sleep!" Evocative.
