New Batmobile Debuts in 'Justice League' Movie
by EG
Warner Bros. doled out some information about the upcoming Justice League Part One, including an official synopsis of the film's plot and a look at a new Batmobile that will make its first appearance in the film. The release of the tidbits is likely an attempt to shore up anticipation for the film amid doubts about the health of the studio's DC Comics universe.
The film's synopsis doesn't offer much in the way of detail, saying only that Batman and Wonderwoman will be busy forming a new team of superheroes in order to fight "an assault of catastrophic proportions" by an unnamed enemy. The new team will include The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. The role of Superman, whose fate at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was not clear, is not specified in the synopsis.
The new Batmobile follows in the tradition of the heavily armed assault vehicles that have typified contemporary Batmobile designs. This one will be equipped with machine guns, cannons and missile launchers, and it will be able to be carried inside the Justice League's new flying vehicle.
The first Justic League movie, directed by Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder, is scheduled for release on November 17, 2017.
