Netflix Rumored to Have 'Full House' Reunion Series In Development
by Andy Neuenschwander
Here's hoping this one isn't a late April Fool's joke!
Rumors are flying that Netflix is close to a series order for a reboot of "Full House," potentially involving the original cast.
The series would be titled "Fuller House" and would likely feature some returning cast members as well as new ones. After all, it would be hard to explain all of those kids still living in the house now that they're well into their 20s and 30s.
According to source, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber would reprise their roles as DJ and Kimmy and would be the focus of the show. The trio of Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier would make guest appearances.
Neither Netflix nor Warner Bros. have commented on or confirmed this rumor thus far, and considering the timing many are dismissing it as an April Fool's rumor. Even without that possibility, we did see rumors that Netflix was considering a live-action "Legend of Zelda" series, but those rumors turned out to be false.
Still with "The X-Files" making a return for certain and with "Boy Meets World" enjoying a successful spin-off with Disney, we could be seeing revivals of "Full House" and other classic 90s sitcoms in the near future.
