Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday Addams is back and unhappier than ever.

Netflix debuted a never-before-seen photo of Ortega as the titular character in season two of Wednesday to celebrate the wrap of production on the second season.

The next installment of the Tim Burton-executive produced series is coming in 2025.

Showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar shared with Netflix’s Tudum that season two will be “exploring more Addams Family Lore” and they are excited to introduce an eclectic lineup of incredible new characters.”

In September, Netflix unveiled new footage of the next season at an in-person fan event in Atlanta. The video featured original castmembers Ortega, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones, and of course, Thing (Victor Dorobantu), returning to the Nevermore Academy set.

The series also lined up a series of familiar names for season two: Lady Gaga, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo and Joonas Suotamo. Lloyd played Uncle Fester in the 1991 Addams Family film.

Filming began in May in Ireland — a change from the first season, which was primarily shot in Romania.
