NC Pastor's Solution To 'Get Rid Of' Gays Involves A Big Fence
by Sean Comer
I don't think one more solitary word could be spoken right now about the "Glee" acceptance of homosexuality rending society assunder.
Chris Colfer might be annoying, but at least I can listen to him and not say at least once, "Thank God he's not actually in charge of anything important."
This clip of a North Carolina pastor's proposal of rounding up all homosexuals Auschwitz-style has garnered 250,000 YouTube views since Pastor Charles L. Worley's May 13 sermon at Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, NC. Let's give humanity the benefit of a doubt and hope that precious few (if any) of those quarter-million people passed this along with the words "This sounds good!" Two weeks ago, North Carolina passed a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage. Of course, around the same time, President Barack Obama made it known in a "Good Morning America" interview with Robin Roberts that he now fully supports legalization of gay matrimony.
I"I figured a way out, a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers, but I couldn't get it past the Congress," Worley said. "Build a great big, large fence - 50 or 100 miles long - and put all the lesbians in there . . . Fly over and drop some food. Do the same thing with the queers and the homosexuals, and have that fence electrified so they can't get out. Feed them. And you know in a few years, they'll die out. You know why? They can't reproduce."
Um....ja. Das isn't.....nein.
CNN affiliate WBTV-TV in Charlotte claims that following the video's initial posting to Providence Road's website, it's since been removed. CNN further claims that phone lines to Worley's home and Providence Road have been busy since Monday. The church's website describes its belief structure as being fundamentalist and more conservative than the Southern Baptist church.
This clip from "Anderon Cooper 360" just has to be heard to be believed.
