NBC's 'Hannibal' - An Extended Trailer (Video)
by Zack WellsNBC’s upcoming series “Hannibal” receives a full-length trailer at last. The series, acting as a prequel to “Red Dragon” and “The Silence of the Lambs”, will focus on the relationship between FBI criminal profiler Will Graham, and Dr. Hannibal Lecter himself, a forensic psychiatrist.
We all know how this story ends up; with Dr. Hannibal Lecter being one of Will Graham’s greatest enemies, but it should prove fascinating to watch how their work relationship develops.
The series is set to feature Hugh Dancy as Special Agent Will Graham, Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Caroline Dhavernas as Dr. Alana Bloom, Lara Jean Chorostecki as Freddie Lounds, and Laurence Fishburne as Special Agent Jack Crawford.
The series is being led by Bryan Fuller, the man behind such cult hits as “Pushing Daisies”, “Dead Like Me”, “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”, “Wonderfalls”, “Heroes”, and the short-lived “The Munsters” reboot “Mockingbird Lane”
It has been said that the production team has hired chef José Andrés Puerta as a ‘cannibal consultant’ to train the crew the proper procedure for preparing human flesh for consumption. Why? I am scared to ask. And even more fearful to know the answer.
