Muppet Shenanigans: Miss Piggy's Celeb Suitors

Ever since it was announced during a press tour this summer that long-time Muppet partners Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy had split up, there's been speculation about what's next to the couple, who have been together for decades. It seems that Kermit has moved on; just this week the internet got a look at his new girlfriend, a pig who works in ABC's publicity department. That leaves Miss Piggy on the rebound, and it seems that she's looking for a little revenge by getting close to some big-name celebs.

First, there was a promo for the upcoming The Muppets show in which the piggy diva gets more than a little flirtatious with Nathan Fillion.

Then Liam Hemsworth posted a photo on Instagram of himself looking lovingly at Miss Piggy. Finally this week, William Shatner stepped into the fray, tweeting his interest in Miss Piggy and challenging Hemsworth. In response, Miss Piggy tweeted that she was interested in "going where no pig has gone before."

Look for all this drama to play out when The Muppets premieres on September 22.
