MTV Airs Controversial Teen Pregnancy Show '16 and Pregnant' Tonight on Abortion

MTV is airing their controversial special on TV tonight. MTV has been criticized for their show 16 and Pregnant, but this show will top that for complaints I am guessing!

Tonights episode of 16 and Pregnant follows around a 19 year old that already has a one year old baby who is contemplating and then gets an abortion after finding out she was pregnant for the second time.

On the show, Markai Durham, who was first seen last month on "16 and Pregnant," discovers she is expecting again and must decide whether to have the baby.

Her decision to terminate the pregnancy is the centerpiece of "No Easy Decision" and has pro-lifers up in arms.

The show is so unusual, MTV scheduled it to air at 11:30 p.m. -- well past the bedtimes of the network's youngest fans.

MTV did not make the show available to the media before it airs and has forbidden Markai to give interviews about the subject.

Pro-life groups are up in arms over the show, fearing it will only give one side to the debate and not voice their opinions. MTV says it will thoroughly investigate and air all sides of the issue.

Do you think airing this show is responsible of MTV so teens know how hard the decision is? Or is it responsible because teens won’t fear it?

Since the show is on so late, people think the teens won’t watch the show. However, they didn’t look at scheduling too closely because this is Christmas break and teens can stay up well past normal bedtimes over the holiday when they don’t need to get up.
