More Images Showcase Lohan As Liz Taylor, Grant Bowler As Richard Burton
by Sean ComerThe black-and-white still posted recently was a decent tease that Lindsay Lohan and Grant Bowler can at least look the part of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton from the neck up.
Now, E! Online has a few color publicity stills that continue to make Lifetime's biopic "Liz & Dick" look encouraging.
For what it's worth, Lohan's got to be happier with anything more than the still to the left of the "Mean Girls" star's nipple slipping the bounds of her top during a physical, dramatic moment.
Below, the once-troubled starlet looks much dignified. The reclining LiLo looks much more dignified wearing the late Taylor's signature raven tresses and form-fitting but elegant red dress and fur.
Get a load, also, of Bowler. The "True Blood" co-star looks equally dignified as Burton, a decorated thespian perhaps best known for his role in "The Thorn Birds," in "Cleopatra" wherein he met Taylor, and eventually as Taylor's husband twice-over. He looks right at home in an old-Hollywood aesthetic.
Let's hope so: he'll have to keep up with Lohan, who undergoes a reported 66 costume changes throughout the film.
