'Mom'  Season 1, Episode 9: 'Zombies and Cobb Salad' Recap Bonnie goes to A.A. She tells them she lost her job and is very scared.

Christy, Marjorie and Regina ask Bonnie about it over lunch, trying to offer her advice. Bonnie says someone out on bail and someone with four cats in her will should not be doling out advice.

Christy is worried about Bonnie. Maybe more so when she knocks on her window in the middle of the night and sneaks in. Bonnie's drunk. Bonnie admits she also lost her apartment and her car. She asks to live with Christy for a while and then pees in the bed.

Christy makes breakfast for her family as Bonnie pukes in the bathroom. She comes out, a terrible mess. Christy gets ready to go to work, blowing off Bonnie's apologies. Bonnie says she will do anything to get sober.

Good. Because Christy invited in her enemies, Regina and Marjorie.

Marjorie tells her story - 32 years sober. She was a homeless bag lady in California at her low point. Regina goes next. She's getting divorced, out on bail, and she is working bagging groceries.

Bonnie's turn. She started drinking at 15, when a foster kid getting bounced around. She fell in love, ran off, had Christy, and was left. Bonnie starts to cry. She says she tried to be a good single Mom, but she failed. She's still trying, but the look on Christy's face that morning reminded her of all the times she let her daughter down.

She pulls on her shoes, determined to go fix things. She races off, taking Marjorie's car.

Christy comes back to yell at Chef Rudy for taking so long, and finds Chef smoking pot in the back. She's furious that everyone in her life is blown.

Bonnie runs in, looking horrible still, and begs Christy's forgiveness in front of customers. Bonnie tries to take over Christy's job and serve people to "help," but she gets cornered by Regina and Marjorie, and tackled.

At A.A., Bonnie admits she has been getting loaded for a few months. She thanks Christy for being such a good daughter, and says she's ready to finally do the program. Not for herself, but because she doesn't want to let Christy down any more.

Christy yells at her and tells her to stop apologizing and to step up instead.

At home, Bonnie says she will work to make Christy's life as easy as possible until she gets back on her feet. She's also decided to be a life coach. She asks Christy to give her problems to solve.

That doesn't end well. Christy tackles Bonnie, the majority of her problems.
