'Mom' 'A Pee Stick and an Asian Raccoon' Recap

Christy has her daughter Violet take a pregnancy test. She tells her she will support her, no matter what the results are. As Violet pees and Christy waits, her Mom Bonnie comes in. Violet hears her and asks Bonnie to come in with her.

Christy busts in, and they await the results as Bonnie tells Violet she will be there for her, however she needs her.

The results come in, and Violet excuses herself from the bathroom.

Bonnie and Christy have tea in the kitchen, debating what to do about Violet's pregnancy. Bonnie mentions she was very close to giving up Christy for adoption to a rich Jewish family. Christy says she should have sold her.

Violet comes out of her room with her decision. "I'm going to be a mom."

Christy tightly hugs her daughter and congratulates her. Violet will stay in school, but she has to call Luke and let him know about the baby.

Roscoe comes in covered in glitter; his dad's new girlfriend showed him how to pole dance. Roscoe finds the pregnancy test and Baxter asks why his son is pregnant.

At work, Chef Rudy asks Christy what's wrong with her, and she tells him about Violet. Christy goes to wait her tables, accidentally sharing a personal story. Gabriel sneaks up behind her and confesses that he misses her, but Christy is distracted and flustered.

She drives home, listening to self affirmations. Luke frightens her in the car, and walks her in. He asks Violet what her news is, but Christy stops her. She sends Luke off and tells Violet that she worries Luke may not have the maturity for this situation. Young guys spook and they don't always stick around.

Luke comes out with the pregnancy box, thinking that Christy is pregnant. Violet has to fix it. He thinks it's "so cool." Until he realizes that baby is half his, and then he's even more excited!

Bonnie and Christy go to A.A., and Bonnie points out one of the speakers she has slept with. Six, total. Bonnie goes up to share, and tells the group what a hot mess her daughter used to be. She admits it is a gift to have her daughter back in her life.

Christy goes home, and finds Violet taking care of Roscoe, who is worried about the Middle East. Christy listens as Violet tells Roscoe he will be an uncle, and she will need his help taking care of her baby. He says he will take good care of it, like she takes care of him.

Violet finds Christy sobbing in the kitchen, upset that Violet is a better mother than she is.

The family goes to Violet's first doctor appointment, Luke included. Christy runs into an old friend from high school, who is pregnant. Christy lies and says she's fighting a yeast infection.

Violet gets to see her baby on the ultrasound. Violet tells Christy she will need her help. Christy tells Bonnie she will need her help.

Chef Rudy notes that Christy seems happy, and she admits she's high... on family.
