'The Mindy Project' Season 3, Episode 14: 'San Francisco Bae' Recap

Lonely and worried that Danny is being hit on by other women, Mindy won't stop calling him. He tells her to go out and have fun and stop worrying so much.

Morgan gets his deepest wish when Danny breaks down and agrees to hang out with him. Hanging out with Morgan, Danny witnesses Lauren going into Peter's apartment. The two listen at the wall and overhear Peter babysitting, but construe it as Peter sleeping with Lauren.

Mindy overhears someone crying and finds Rob, who has just ended things with his wife. Mindy invites him to go out on the town with her. They go out, and at the bar, she runs into a handsome man (guest star Lee Pace)... who recognizes her. He lost his virginity to her. Mindy is surprised at how beautiful he has become, and Rob recognizes him as a tech guru. She tells the story... both lost their virginity together, Mindy 24 and determined to just do it with whoever.

She, in fact, is the one who gave Alex the idea which made his website such a hit. Alex wonders why she never returned his e-mail. She pulls it up, having never seen it as it went to her old college email. She finds out the attractive billionaire tried to reunite with her, the girl who changed his life.

Pissed at being ignored and Mindy's sudden interest in Alex, Rob forwards the email to Danny. Mindy calls Peter and begs him to go into Danny's computer and delete the email. Peter goes to Danny's apartment to delete the email, with baby Henry in tow. They realize what happened... but Morgan has already called Jeremy, who is on his way. Overhearing the conversation between Morgan, Danny, and Jeremy. Trying to cover their tracks they end up saying Morgan is cheating with Mindy. Having deleted the email he did not read, Peter comes out of the bedroom to confirm. Jeremy talks about how he and Peter got things straight, so Danny and Morgan can too. In the process he makes Peter feel terrible.

Later Lauren asks Peter to babysit again, and Peter kisses her.

Mindy tells Alex she wishes he had gotten his email. He asks her to take a walk, but they are interrupted by Rob, who is drunk and causing a commotion. Alex effectively ends the issue and buys everyone in the bar drinks. He asks Mindy for that walk, and she tells him about Danny, and kisses his cheek. His girlfriend runs up and shoves her (guest star Chrissy Teigen).

Danny calls her later in the evening, and asks about the email, which she explains. He says he trusts her.
