'The Mindy Project' Season 2, Episode 20: 'An Officer and a Gynecologist' Recap

On the subway with Sally, Danny steps in when kids take a rabbi's hat and begin taunting him. The man is grateful, and mistakes him for Dr. Shulman based upon Danny's bag.
Jenny's father, a detective, comes into the office and yells at her. She chases him down the street to yell back at him for scolding her. She claims to be looking out for Jenny. He gives her a ticket for "public female hysteria."
The rabbi tracks down Danny, who he still believes to be Shulman, and invites him to dinner. He has mistaken Danny for Jewish and plans to refer lots of clients to him as he is a celebrity rabbi... Danny stops trying to correct him.
Mindy complains to Danny about her new work problems after giving up men, and he is grateful she is talking to him again.
Mindy finds Jenny on her stoop. Jenny has decided to take control of her life back from men - and she wants to live with Mindy. Mindy allows it as long as her father is aware of what is happening.
Jenny finds Mindy's box full of old boyfriends and they go through it. Plain Jenny is overwhelmed.
Danny appeals to Peter, who is angry at him for dating Sally, to help him pass for Jewish. They negotiate and Peter agrees.
Jenny's father comes to see Mindy at the work, upset about Jenny again. However Jenny is over 18 and can do what she wants. He warns Mindy he can frame her for being a madam, and tells her to take care of Jenny and call him with any issues.
She calls Jenny, who is apologetic and says she'll go home. However Mindy tells her to have people over and have a good time.
Danny and Peter go to Shabbat dinner. Peter charms everyone while Danny attempts to squeak by. However the rabbi's son accidentally walks in on Peter going to the bathroom and finds that Peter is not circumcised.
Mindy comes home and finds that sweet and innocent Jenny's hang out with friends is actually a sweaty and sensual party. She finds Morgan handcuffed to the bed... Jenny has tricked him to come over and kidnapped him, indending to lose her virginity to him. Mindy calls Jenny's father, and he kicks everyone out.
Danny and Peter get pulled into the rabbi's office and the truth comes out - Peter is only kind of Jewish, and Danny not at all. Peter and Danny begin arguing about Sally and the rabbi kicks them out.
Jenny packs up as Mindy scolds her for her sex party. Jenny says she was inspired by Mindy's "conquest" box and Mindy explains that it's a heartbreak box. She explains that Jenny will do just fine with men but she needs to respect herself, and she herself was 22 when she lost her virginity. Her father overhears and warms to Mindy.
Danny runs into the rabbi on the subway after sitting with Mindy, and the rabbi, thinking Mindy is Sally, says he can see what he and Peter were arguing about - that Danny is clearly in love with her.
Danny meets Sally and asks her if they can talk. Mindy jaywalks... in front of Jenny's father, of course, and he starts to write her a ticket. They flirt.
