'Mindy Project' Cancelled by Fox, Might Continue on Hulu

As Upfronts approach networks are picking up and dropping shows, but nothing has been much of a surprise...until now.
Fox has officially cancelled "The Mindy Project," the half-hour comedy from former "The Office" star Mindy Kaling. The show just recently finished up its third season.
It's especially bad news for fans as the final episode of season three ended with a major cliffhanger, as Danny took a flight to India to ask Mindy's parents for their blessing over their relationship.
However, there's still hope: Hulu is reportedly considering picking up "The Mindy Project" and continuing the show with a fourth season, much like how Yahoo! Screen picked up "Community" for a sixth season this year after it was cancelled by NBC.
Mindy weighed in on the news shortly after it happened, even though she was in Montana at the time. She posted a video of the woods around her on Instagram with the caption, "Hey guys, I'm in Montana, is anything happening in LA? #themindyproject."
