Pretty Cool: Miley Sends Flirty Texts To Kings of Leon

Pretty Cool: Miley Sends Flirty Texts To Kings of Leon After helping "Saturday Night Live" achieve its second best ratings of the year, Miley Cyrus is sharing her smiles by way of emoticon.

The recipient of Cyrus’ textual affection is Southern rocker Jared Followill, the Kings of Leon bassist (not to be confused with his brother Nathan Followill, who fired off a homophobic rant at "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy back in January).

Sources close to Followill, 24, say he thinks, to quote an SNL skit, it’s "pretty cool." According to Hollywood Life, Followill shows the texts off to his friends and is happy she’s still interested.

The two hung out last year at the MTV Europe Music Awards and are both from Nashville.

Having plastered the headlines with bong-related gossip, the 18-year old Cyrus may need to keep her eyes wide open before embarking in a rock-in-roll lifestyle - or at least keep them peeled for candid photo opps.

In other Cyrus-clan news, Miley is mad at dad.

According to PopEater, after Poppa Billy bashed “Hannah Montana” and Disney in an interview with GQ, Miley conducted preemptive damage control, forcing Billy Ray to cancel a scheduled appearance on “The View.”

Interestingly, on Saturday, Miley partook in an SNL skit that poked fun at The Disney Channel and its exaggerated acting style.
