After quitting the site in 2009 at a time when she had more than 2 million followers, she is making a slow and steady comeback through an account under the name “gypsyhearttour.”

At the time, she claimed the site was too personal and that she wanted to keep details of her life private; however sites like MileyCyrus (the ultimate fansite) point towards her official fansite which charges fans $29.95 a year for membership and perks - including details of Miley’s life. Critics say sales to the site were down after she joined Twitter.

A couple of weeks ago, Cyrus sent out a tweet from her producer Rock Mafia’s page and now she’s back with her own account that appears to be a promotional tool for her upcoming tour.

Recent tweets show that she’s considering transitioning to the account @MileyCyrus but she seems worried about the transfer of her fans, again.

Since re-signing to Twitter on March 29, Miley has tweeted 120 times. So far, Miley has reached an upwards of 100,000 followers, to which she credits a rather impressive new mustache picture.
