Miley Cyrus Delivers Feminist Version of 'Santa Baby' on Fallon's Show

"Baby, It's Cold Outside" might be a creepy song, but let's note that "Santa Baby" is probably the most sexist of all the songs we listen to at this time of year. The writers of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon aimed to change that, and they gave Miley Cyrus an updated version of the song to sing on Thursday's show. Read on for details.

Miley Cyrus is putting a feminist touch on an old holiday classic.

Just before performing "Santa Baby" on Thursday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cyrus meets up with Fallon to point out some of the lyrics to the song she had questions about. "Am I saying that I'm going to hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?"

So she changes a few of the lyrics to match up with her own viewpoint, singing: "Santa baby, I don't need any fancy jewelry. Not me. I've got something else in mind."

"Don't want diamonds, cash or stocks. Nothing that comes in a box. No more fluff, I've had enough. And I can buy my own damn stuff."

While she continues to update the lyrics, Mark Ronson comes in as a backup dancer with Fallon as Cyrus drops her biggest wish list item: "Listen Santa to what I say, a girl's best friend is... equal pay."

"Santa baby, I'd love to know my ass won't get grabbed at work, by some ignorant jerk," she continues, while Fallon and Ronson accidentally put the ornaments in an unfortunate configuration. "Tell the dirtbag to put away the chimney tonight."
