Miley Cyrus 'Beyond Miserable' Over Death of Her Dog

Sadly, this was one announcement on April 1st that wasn't an April Fool's prank.

Miley Cyrus took to her Twitter account late Tuesday night to make a sad announcement. "I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real," she wrote. "But my precious baby Floyd has passed away."

Floyd is one of Miley's pet dogs, an Alaskan Klee Kai that she got roughly five years ago, when she was still with now ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

"I am broken," Miley continued, posting along with her message an earlier photo of her cuddling up with Floyd. "Today is the 2nd worst day of my life."

There's no word yet on exactly how Floyd died; as an Alaskan Klee Kai, his natural life expectancy was longer than that of most other dog breeds. Miley has had other pet tragedies before: In December 2012, her dog Ziggy accidentally killed her smaller Yorkie, Lila.

Miley's sad tweets continued on this morning. "This is the 3rd worst day of my life," she tweeted, referencing her tweet from last night. "I am beyond miserable."

"Love in our life is just too valuable to feel for even a second without it. But like without death is just impossible," she wrote with another Floyd pic.

For now, hopefully Miley's other pups Happy (a Rottweiler-beagle mix), Mate (a German shepherd), Bean (a Chihuahua mix) and Mary Jane (a rescue mutt) can keep her in good spirits.
