'Mildred Pierce' and 'True Blood' Hottie Evan Rachel Wood on Bisexuality: 'I'm the Dominant One'

'Mildred Pierce' and 'True Blood' Hottie Evan Rachel Wood on Bisexuality: 'I'm the Dominant One' When “Mildred Pierce” star Evan Rachel Wood (who absolutely killed it in last night’s episode of the mini-series) showed up in a role as lesbian vampire queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq in “True Blood,” she famously said "I haven't enjoyed sex with men since the Eisenhower administration."

Sounds like that wasn’t too far from the truth.

In an interview with Esquire this week, Wood brought up the subject of her bisexuality repeatedly, acknowledging she unabashedly swings both ways.

"So I was always into very androgynous things. Guys, girls ... I'm into androgyny in general," Wood told Esquire, explaining her rather bizarre relationship and recently broken engagement to Marilyn Manson.

Sexually ambidextrous rocker Manson wore a body suit that approximated breasts on the cover of “Mechanical Animals,” and was rumored to have sought out permanent breast implants. Wood and Manson reportedly broke off their engagement in August of last year. Since then she's apparently been keeping her options open.

"I'm up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl...” Wood said, going into further detail.

“I'm more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I'm the dominant one. I’m opening the doors, I'm buying dinner. Yeah, I'm romantic."

The actress also said that she’d marry co-star Kate Winslet if she could (who wouldn't?).

Wood’s slinky sexuality and powerfully bitchy demeanor are the star of “Mildred Pierce,” which has been getting terrific critical press, and her icy cold persona was one of the driving forces behind a memorable past couple of seasons of “True Blood.” She can currently be seen in the just-released movie “The Conspirator.”
