Mila Kunis Triggers Whiskey Boycott by Conservatives
by EG
Mila Kunis, star of A Bad Moms Christmas, confessed on Conan this week that she's been making donations to Planned Parenthood in the name of Vice President Mike Pence. The revelation prompted outrage from conservative Twitter users, who said they'd be fighting back by boycotting Jim Beam, the liquor brand for which Kunis is a spokesperson. If this boycott is as successful as the conservative boycott of the NFL, Jim Beam has little to worry about.
In response to Mila Kunis' recent revelation that she has a monthly, reoccurring donation to Planned Parenthood set up in Mike Pence's name, several of the VP's supporters have stated on social media that they would not only be boycotting Jim Beam, the spirit for which the 34-year-old is a spokesperson, but that they would also be making donations to pro-life organizations in Kunis' name.
Loved Jim Beam... But love Jack, Belle, Woodford, Bulleit, and of course, Maker's, and they don't have Mila. #BoycottBeam #BoycottJimBeam

The Bad Moms Christmas actress, who opened up about her donations during an episode of Conan last week, seemed to anticipate the backlash. Before she spoke to Conan O'Brien about the scheme, she issued this disclaimer: "This is when a lot of hate mail comes my way. I apologize if I'm offending anybody."
She explained that the donation was not a "prank" so much as a "peaceful protest" to express her disagreement with Pence's pro-life platform. "I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do, and so as a reminder that there are women out there in the world who may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of reoccurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood," she said.
"Every month to his office, he gets a little letter that says an anonymous donation has been made in your name," she continued. "I strongly disagree, and this is my little way of showing that. It's a peaceful protest."
The hashtag #BoycottBeam picked up steam over the weekend, with several conservative Twitter users writing that Kunis' actions have them looking elsewhere for their bourbon fix.
