'Mike & Molly' Season 3, Episode 22: 'School Recital' Recap

Molly deals with a kid stuck in detention. He called another student “stupid.” Mike comes in to give him a lesson from the police.

The two go shopping. Molly is too tired to work on making a baby that night, and she gets extremely irritated by all the babies and pregnant women everywhere.

Mike tells Carl of their frustration. Carl tells him he is a creature of habit and should try changing it up. He suggest the two look into in vitro.

Joyce notices Molly is busy on a fertilization night. She tells Molly not to get discouraged. She goes to work on the school spring recital.

Mike goes downstairs to find that Vince sits on his bed and eats when Mike’s not home. He has a financial investment idea for Mike, who is upset about how much in vitro costs. Ostriches. He has bought some and needs seed money for his friend who will be keeping them.

Molly releases the kids for a break. The recital isn’t going well. The man playing the piano flirts with her, but she can’t see it; she is too focused on not having a kid.

In the car having picked up a man for indecent exposure, Mike is realizing how badly he wants a kid as he and Carl talk. He wants a little girl. He thought he only wanted Molly to be happy but now he's realizing how much he is invested in it.

Victoria helps out with the recital, and the piano player supports Molly. Mike, in the audience, talks with a little girl. The man gives Molly a bouquet, and kisses her abruptly. Molly yells at him.

The recital goes well. Mike congratulates her backstage, and she suggests they open a bottle of champagne and see where the night goes, even though she’s not ovulating anymore.

Vince and Mike meet the man about the ostriches. Mike has second thoughts.
