'Mike & Molly' Season 3, Episode 8: 'Mike Likes Briefs' Recap

Molly has another pregnancy test. Mike begins to worry that he can’t knock his wife up, but Molly reminds him that just means they can keep trying.

Mike confesses to Carl he’s getting worried he can’t get Molly pregnant. Carl asks if he’s taking proper care of his testicles. Carl tells them they need to be kept at the proper temperature, and stop cramming them into tighty whities. Mike resists the idea of boxers. Carl suggests full commando.

“That’s like having loose oranges in the backseat of your car.”

Carl takes Mike to a sex shop for “martial aids.”

Joyce and Victoria wonder why Mike isn’t home at six on the dot. Everyone appreciates the break, especially since the walls are thin and Molly is “a backseat driver.”

Mike comes home with a big box, which they immediately recognize as a sex wedge. He goes over the instructions that he practiced with Carl.

Mike wakes Molly early, ready to take another ride on the rump ramp, but she wants to stay asleep. She goes to take a shower—“alone, and without your penis.”

Vince and Mike are at breakfast. Vince asks if he abused himself too much as a child. He suggests his testosterone might be low—less hair, more testosterone, such as himself.

Mike goes to the shower and demands to make a baby, pulling back the curtain and revealing Joyce.

Carl and Mike go to see Carl’s cousin’s store (for big men) to find some nice silk boxers. Mike still worries he is full of duds.

Mike comes home with a bag full of baby-making equipment, and tells Molly to meet him upstairs. Molly isn’t thrilled. Victoria comforts her, reminding her how much Mike loves her. Molly misses the romance.

“What could be more romantic than a man trying to give you what he knows you want?”

Molly goes upstairs and shuts off the sounds of dolphins mating. She makes Mike sit and talk. She reminds him that the process may take a while, and she doesn’t want it to be so stressful.

Another negative test, but Mike and Molly shake it off, because at least they’re having fun.

Molly realizes Mike isn’t wearing underwear.
