'Mike & Molly' Season 3, Episode 19: 'Party Planners' Recap

'Mike & Molly'  Season 3, Episode 19: 'Party Planners' Recap Peggy has pudding prepared, but Molly insists they have to go. Mike is no help. Peggy asks about the baby situation. She assumes Molly is “barren” and Molly gets up to leave.

Peggy mentions Mike can come over for his birthday bash, but Molly reminds her they’re having it at their own house. Peggy tells Mike he doesn’t have to bring Molly over every time he visits.

“We’re married now. My hell is her hell!”

Molly complains about Peggy in the car. She decides they should cancel his birthday party to keep Peggy from coming, but Mike protests.

At the diner, a new waitress comes over, but Samuel rushes her away from Carl’s advances. He says he has dibs.

Molly goes to see Peggy in the cafeteria as the women clean up. She tries to reason with her and get them on good terms for the party. She offers to plan something together. She agrees to meet at Peggy’s in the evening.

At the end of the night Samuel tries to hit on the new waitress when Carl comes in to give him a ride home for the first time ever. He whisks Skyma away to give her a ride.

Molly wants to plan a “classy” party, but Peggy thinks they just need a big cake. Molly wants to be healthy, but Peggy insists just huge quantities of cake.

Molly goes down to bed, singing drunkenly. Getting wasted is the only way she can handle Mike’s mother. Mike tries to care for her and put her to bed.

At school, Molly nurses a hangover. Peggy brings in a slice of low-cal cake, as a peace offering. Molly says they need to just cancel the party, but Peggy is being unusually reasonable about working together. She wants to be a good grandma when they have a kid, she says.

Carl goes to pay the check in an effort to talk to Shyma. She tells him she thinks it is brave that he is having sexual reassignment surgery… Samuel comes in, with the pictures from Halloween when “Carlita” went as Tina Turner.

He breaks out singing and dancing like Tina.

Mike comes home and is greeted by everyone for his birthday. Mike asks about his cake, and Peggy says since Mike told her to be the bigger person, they are stuck with low-cal crap. Molly says Mike said the same thing to her about Peggy…

Carl and Mike go mini-golfing, since it’s not safe to be at home.
