'Mike & Molly'  Season 3, Episode 12: 'Molly's Birthday' Recap Molly is helping Mike plan out her birthday… in very precise details.

Victoria comes in with her friend and weed dealer, Tom, whose house is getting bombed for termites, so he’ll be staying with Victoria for a few days.

Molly got no sleep; Victoria and Tom were up playing bongos all night. Tom is currently hogging the shower. Molly isn't thrilled to have him.

Carl is enjoying living alone now. He invites Mike to come over and watch the fight, but Mike can’t. Molly’s birthday is the next day and he has to make sure it’s perfect. Carl has a temper tantrum about it and leaves. Sam tells Mike he’s never lived alone and Carl doesn’t know what to do with himself.

Tom gives Vince and Joyce massages in the living room. Molly wants to get him out of the house, but Joyce likes having him around.

Sam goes to watch the fight with Carl, who is overly attentive. The guy Carl bet on gets knocked out almost immediately. They aren’t sure what to do… beside watch lesbian porn.

Victoria and Tom sing and play the guitar on the couch, beside Molly, who is trying to work. Tom tells Victoria she should quit her job and go spread her talent with the world. Tom goes to get gelato, and Molly tells Victoria she think he’s a bad influence.

Tom comes back in with the gelato, and says that someone got a head start on it. No problem… they’ll just be high for about five days.

A very smiley Mike comes downstairs, holding an empty bowl.

Tom takes Mike for a walk in the fresh air. Victoria reassures Molly that Tom is an expert at guiding people down from a high. Tom opens the door to inform them that Mike got away.

Mike walks down the street, Frankenstein-like. A dog barks at him and he growls at it. Mike hears violin music, and wanders toward it. A little girl is playing, and she screams when he gets to the window. He yells and runs away.

Molly and Victoria drive around looking for him, while they fight about how Victoria is living her life.

“Molly gets good grades. Molly only dates single men. Molly never wakes up under a bridge!”

Mike wanders the streets, and sees some hobos warming themselves on a fire. He joins them, but burns himself and flails off, screaming.

Sam and Carl are playing monopoly when Mike knocks on the door. Sam sees the opportunity and runs. Carl doesn’t seem to notice anything amiss, with stoned Mike sitting on the couch, and happily gets him food.

Molly and Victoria are out of ideas for finding Mike. Molly tells Victoria she’s worried about her future. Victoria toys with the idea of going back to school. She has saved up $36 thousand, after all.

Carl gets a call from Molly and reassures her that Mike is there, and he doesn’t seem to be stoned. Mike screams for pancakes.

“Yup, same old Mike.”

Mike is home safe and sound, but sleeping through Molly’s birthday list. Victoria comes in with the specified breakfast and flowers that Molly had wanted, singing her happy birthday. Victoria tells her sister that she’s going to go sign up for classes. Victoria thanks her for believing in her.
