'Mike & Molly' Recap, Season 4, Episode 7: 'They Shoot Asses, Don't They?'

Carl and Mike go into a convenience store, accidentally interrupting a hold-up. There is a tussle, and Mike is shot as he takes the man down with a can of Diet coke... shot in the backside.

Mike is taken to the hospital, where Molly meets him. He gets taken home, and wants to go to bed as Carl, Molly, and Peggy fight over who gets to take care of him.

Mike wakes in the middle of the night, unable to get comfortable. Molly asks him if he wants to talk about what he went through, but he wants to just go watch T.V. He finds Vince on the couch. Mike admits he keeps replaying the day over and over in his head. Things could have gone differently, he could have died.

Vince tells him to live every day like his last. Mike gets the phone and calls someone he hasn't talked to in a while - he calls and orders a pizza, ruining his diet.

In the morning, as MIke still sleeps, Molly takes out the trash and finds multiple pizza boxes in the trash. Vince admits that things got out of control.

Molly and Mike go to O.A., and Mike speaks and admits he over-ate due to stress. He gets angry and storms out.

Molly goes to Peggy, searching for Mike. She finds Peggy making a pudding for Mike and argues with her about it. Molly gets upset talking about Mike, and Peggy hugs her.

Carl finds Mike at the bar, eating and drinking. Mike tells him he is quitting the force. Carl takes him home, reminiscing as they drive about all the great things Mike has done as a cop.

Mike goes home to find Molly eating ice cream out of the container, which Mike takes away and apologizes. He admits he should have talked to her.

They make up and go to bed.
