'Mike & Molly' Recap, Season 4, Episode 9: 'What Molly Hath Wrought'
by Shannon KeirnanMolly pages through her manuscript, realizing it is terrible (as she drinks hardcore). She attempts to rip it to pieces.
Mike comes into the kitchen and asks her what's wrong. She explains that her book is a disaster, and sets it on fire.
The next morning, Molly is puking in the toilet. Joyce brings her a hangover cure, and she and Victoria pull her out of the bathroom. She's horrified that she quit her job to pursue writing. Joyce's hangover cure is mostly vodka, and Molly chokes it down.
Mike complains about the situation at the diner. He's ready to draw the line. Molly needs to pick a career.
Drunken Molly peeks through the window into her old classroom. The new teacher calls security. Peggy is called to pick Molly up. Molly asks Peggy to keep it a secret from Mike, and Peggy agrees... but she will need a return favor.
Vince comes home and finds Molly moping on the sofa. He suggest she go and help him out at his warehouse. Molly decides maybe a day of not thinking and worrying is what she needs.
As Mike and Joyce make dinner, he asks her about menopause, since Molly has been all over the place. Joyce says Molly is just trying to find herself.
Molly comes home, ecstatic that she drove a forklift for the day. Vince wants her to come and work more, she was a great employee. Mike is getting frustrated by her many career changes.
One day two of work, Molly has done so well, Vince wants to make her a partner, and perhaps run the business some day. It would solve their financial problems.
She tries to talk it out with Mike, but he's being careful not to influence her, and admits he is a little afraid of her lately. Later, he finds her downstairs, writing. The warehouse has given her an idea for a murder mystery.
The next morning, Molly struggles on her forklift. She is tired. She knocks down about half of the warehouse. Vince is not pleased.
Later, she is going through the pages she wrote the previous night, and finds they are actually very good.
Peggy comes in to claim her favor. It involves a chainsaw.
