'Mike & Molly' Recap, Season 4, Episode 10: 'Mike and Molly's Excellent Adventure'

Molly comes down to show Mike that she was published. She wrote a small article that was published on a national blog. However, she doesn't get paid for it.

Mike wants to take her out to celebrate.

He brings her to the diner, where she tells Carl and Samuel her news and is congratulated.

After their meal Molly is still ready to celebrate. She wants to go inside a showroom and look at expensive cars, despite Mike's protests. She tells him to just pretend, and fakes a British accent while talking to the salesman. Mike takes the car for a test drive, terrified. Molly makes him pull over by a fancy hotel and drags him in so she can go to the bathroom.

She wants to hang out, and suggests they get a room... or, since they can't afford one, "borrow" a room for sex. They go upstairs, and dash into a room after a maid comes out. They have a quickie in the room, and then run out. They hear a walkie talkie and race down the stairs, planning to go down the next floor and take the elevator down.

Only, they don't have a room key and can't open the door to the 71st floor. They have to walk the entire way down, and Mike is furious at her. They fight, but a few more flights down, and Molly admits that Mike is her rock and has been there to support her, and she wants to have him do the things he's never been able to. Finally, they break free into the lobby, sweaty and exhausted.

Home, they drop into the furniture. Mike thanks Molly for pushing him to try new things.
