Meet The 13th 'Dancing With The Stars' All-Star, Sabrina Bryan
by Sean ComerBy popular demand, one-time Disney darling Sabrina Bryan shall dance with the stars once more.
The the 27-year-old former Cheetah Girls girl-group alum told "Good Morning America" Monday morning that she's endured the weeks-long fan vote to beat out charismatic fashionista Carson Kressley and fellow Disney product Kyle Massey to become the thirteenth "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" contestant.
For Bryan, it's the big break to "DWTS" redemption. During her fifth-season run, she became a fairly early casualty of the flawed elimination process, voted off by viewers despite receiving a perfect "30." Bryan won't find herself paired once more with then-partner Mark Ballas, who's this time out steering right-wing pariah Bristol Palin across the hardwood. Bryan will instead be stepping toward the Mirror Ball Trophy astride Louis Van Amstel.
After starring in "The Cheetah Girls" and its two sequels, the singer-actress-dancer has more recently performed voice work in Disney's animated television series "Fish Hooks" as Pamela Hamster.
Kressley, an early vote-off in the fourteenth season eventually won by J.R. Martinez, was wildly popular with both studio and television audiences for his being a tidal wave of charisma and flamboyant glee despite often receiving anemic technique marks from judges. Massey appeared on the eleventh "DWTS" season, and was a successful runner-up with partner Lacey Schwimmer.
Bryan will be once more chasing the Mirror Ball against a pack including fellow alumni Pamela Anderson, Olympic gold-medalist speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith and fellow former pop star Drew Lachey. With all the pairings set, the new season kicks off Sept. 24 on ABC.
