Matthew Morrison: 'Glee' Actor, Singer, Dancer...Director?

"Glee" star Matthew Morrison is the definition of a triple-threat: the man can sing, act, and dance circles around most people. He's a TV star, a Broadway star, and has even written his own songs and produced a solo album. What could possibly be left for the guy to do on the creative front?

How about directing?

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter at PaleyFest, Morrison revealed that he hopes to direct an episode of "Glee" in the third season, effectively making him a quadruple-threat...maybe a quintuple-threat if you count his hair as a talent.

Morrison has expressed interest in directing in the past, saying that all the work he's doing in front of the camera on "Glee" and behind the microphone in the recording studio will slow down when he's 40.

"I’d love to get behind the camera, produce films and be more involved in the storytelling process," said Morrison.

It sounded as though Morrison was just hopeful about a directing opportunity with "Glee" and it isn't by any means a sure thing. But with Gleeks everywhere as vocal as they are, Morrison might just get his wish...after all, the fans made the whole original music thing happen!
