Matt LeBlanc Likes Friends To Be Left To The Imagination

Matt LeBlanc For many years the hit US comedy Friends dominated our screens, and when the final series finished airing it was a sad day for millions of avid fans, many of whom had grown up with Joey, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, and Monica.

However, those that may have been hoping for a reunion of the friends in the future may be in for a disappointment.

One of the stars of the show, Matt LeBlanc, who played ladies' man Joey in the series, has said that he would not be happy about doing a reunion, as that would be 'almost sad'. He said that fans of the show were best left to use their imaginations with regards to what each of the characters from the show might be doing now rather than having another story pushed upon them.

LeBlanc starred in the hugely popular show for ten series, and his co-stars included Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow.

He said that whilst being part of the Friends success was wonderful he just didn't think that a reunion of the characters would work. He has since gone on to star in a number of movies, and had his own Friends spin off show called Joey.

He stated: "Friends was this magical, cool thing, like lightning in a bottle, and I feel super fortunate to have been part of it." However, with regards to thoughts of a reunion he added: "What would the story be? We all get together and what? Have coffee? It would be almost sad. It's better to just imagine what those characters are doing now."
