'Marry Me' Season 1, Episode 10: 'Spoil Me' Recap

'Marry Me' Season 1, Episode 10: 'Spoil Me' Recap Annie and Jake have managed to avoid spoilers until they can watch the finale of their favorite show, "The Moors," together.

When they pull up the recording, it says "recently watched." They're furious with each other, each denying they watched it.

During lunch with Annie's dad's, they suggest maybe one of their friends watched the show on their television, and neither one violated their sacred pact after all. This seems to solve the mystery.

While walking, Dennah runs into her new man, a police officer, and introduces him to Gil and Kay. His partner seems into Gil.

When all the friends deny watching "The Moors," they agree to Dennah's suggestion of using her man's lie detector machine, both insisting they have nothing to hide. Jake admits to Gil that he did watch the show. However, he watched it outside of the house, so Annie is still the liar. But he won't pass the test.

Gil says Annie just has to do the test first. This plan backfires when the officer brings two machines. Jake manages to sneak in the truth when Annie asks if he watched on their DVR. He turns it on Annie, but she tells the truth when she says no, she did not watch the finale on their TV without Jake.

Jake comes home on his lunch break to find one of the Kevin's in his bed watching television. Mystery. Solved. He's show cheating on the other Kevin. Jake feels terrible about accusing Annie.

He needn't worry. She watches it live every week with her co-workers. Jake goes to her work to apologize and overhears her discussing it.

Gil goes out with the police officer Laguna, and he and Dennah double date. They find out that the "partners" are more than just co-workers... they're married and in an open relationship.

Jake and Annie mutually lie and pretend they didn't watch the show, so they can enjoy watching it together.
