Mariah Carey Bares Her Baby Bump for Life & Style Magazine

Never one to shy away from the limelight, pregnant singer Mariah Carey shares her baby joy - and belly - with Life & Style Magazine.

The 41-year-old music icon married actor-comedian Nick Cannon in 2008 and is expecting not one, but two, babies any day now.

In true Mariah Carey fashion she said she wanted to take the skin-baring portraits to share an emotional and personal time with her extended family - her lifelong fans.

Hesitant at first about being photographed at all Carey said, "I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn't want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience."

The mama-to-be did in fact almost miss the opportunity because the night before the shoot she was rushed to the hospital with contractions, only to be released hours later.

It sounds like Carey may have a mini-Mariah on her hands! She told the photogs, "The babies were kicking almost the entire time [while shooting]; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl - clearly she's a diva in training!"

With one boy and one girl on the way, the expectant parents have plenty to be thankful for and we wish them the best of luck on a safe and healthy delivery!
