'Manhattan Love Story' Season 1, Episode 8, 'Love is a Battlefield' Recap

'Manhattan Love Story' Season 1, Episode 8, 'Love is a Battlefield' Recap Dana gets an invitation to the wedding of a horrible old friend, and mentions bringing Peter. Peter hates the idea - but hates the idea of being her date to a Tibetan monk concert even more, though he agrees to go.

Tucker has broken up with his boyfriend, and wants to do something with Dana. Torn, she asks Peter if she can bring Tucker to the concert instead. He couldn't be happier - better yet, he still gets sex afterwards!

This becomes a new thing, "Tucking it." Tucker takes Dana to all the stuff Peter doesn't have interest in, and he still gets sex after. It's the perfect arrangement for him.

David goes to surprise Amy with dinner, but finds she isn't at the spin class she is supposed to be teaching, and hasn't been for weeks. However, Amy is just taking dance lessons so she can look good at the wedding, lacking any natural dancing abilities. David sees her with her instructor and is horrified.

At the work poker game, everyone tells David that Amy is probably cheating on him. By now Peter is also fed up with Tucker spending all his time with Dana, and Dana has basically just stopped asking Peter to do things. She's even invited Tucker to be her date to the wedding, thinking Peter's reluctance meant it would just be the better option. His family tells Peter to just go and be with Dana.

Dana goes to the wedding where Tucker impresses everyone, but is sort of wishing Peter were there with her. Peter gets dressed up and makes an appearance at the wedding, admitting he may not want to do everything Dana does, but he at least loves spending time with her.

Amy comes clean to David, and the two steal the first dance, with Dana and Peter sidling in as well. Peter asks to be Dana's boyfriend.
