'Mad Men' Mean Girl: Child Actor Disses January Jones, John Slattery Defends

'Mad Men' Mean Girl: Child Actor Disses January Jones, John Slattery Defends If the word of Zach Galifianakis is to be trusted, then January Jones is kind of a b**ch. The actor revealed a while back that Jones was quite rude to him at a party, which is a shame considering that she can't act.

More fuel was added to the "January Jones sucks" fire yesterday when 11-year-old actor Jared Gilmore, who plays Bobby Draper on "Mad Men" (the son of Jones' character Betty), gave a word of warning to other actors who might take over his role. "Be careful around January," he said. "She's not as approachable as the others. Everyone else is so nice."

Out of the mouths of babes, eh? You would figure that this would settle the matter, except that John Slattery (who plays Roger Sterling on the show) stepped in today to defend Jones' personality. "She's a sweetheart," Slattery said. "We got lucky."

Who's right? Was Gilmore just intimidated by Jones? Is Slattery blinded by Jones' striking external appearance? I've made my thoughts about Jones pretty clear (and so has Damon Lindelof), so I know whom I'm siding with.
