When Is 'Mad Men' Coming Back? Find Out Here!
by Andy NeuenschwanderGood things come to those who wait. "Mad Men" comes to those who wait a really, really long time.
After all the contractual disputes were settled and everyone was back on board, "Mad Men" finally started filming again back in July, including an episode that Jon Hamm himself directed.
It was Hamm who also let slip when the show will be returning to the airwaves: in an appearance on the "Doug Loves Movies" podcast, Hamm announced that "Mad Men" season five will be premiering on March 25th.
And if you're wondering what the heck that announcement was doing on that podcast, you should know that Hamm happens to be a hilarious fellow and guests on a lot of comedy podcasts, such as "Doug Loves Movies" and "Comedy Bang Bang." So, look for that.
That's great news for fans, as at that point it will have been roughly one and a half years since a new episode of the four-time Emmy winner graced the screen. With any luck, this is the last we see of contract disputes at AMC... though there's a decent chance that the pricey "The Walking Dead" will go through the same thing after season three.
So raise a glass of scotch and smoke a cigarette or three! "Mad Men" is back!*
*Don't actually do that, smoking is bad for you. Don Draper isn't going to be in great shape in the 90's.
