Macchio's Partner in the Buff: Karina Smirnoff of 'Dancing With the Stars' Will Appear Nude in Playboy

We know that "Dancing with the Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff knows how to dance, but does she know how to pose?

We'll find out soon: Hugh Hefner himself has tweeted that Smirnoff will appear in an upcoming spring issue of Playboy. "The May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with 'Dancing With The Stars' Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside," tweeted Hefner.

Side note, does anyone actually think that Hugh Hefner writes those tweets himself? The man is older than most trees, I doubt he knows how Twitter works.

Smirnoff has been on "DWTS" for twelve seasons, and has paired with the likes of Mario Lopez, Billy Ray Cyrus, Steve Wozniak and Rocco DiSpirito, among others. This season, she's paired up with Ralph Macchio, who is still in it and dancing strong in the competition.

This isn't the first time a reality TV star has been on the cover of Playboy. Not by a longshot...in fact, The Frisky has a list of then of them, which include "The Hills" star Heidi Montag, reality queens Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, and "Dancing With the Stars" competitor Joanna Krupa.

Of that list, Karina Smirnoff is probably the lowest-profile reality star. Then again, she may be the only one to actually appear nude in the magazine as well.
