Lydia Hearst No Comment on Lindsay Lohan Inspired Movie

Lydia Heast Publishing heiress turned actress Lydia Hearst distance herself from the Dogs in the Pocketbooks project despite an announcement from the screenwriter of the movie that she is best qualified to portray the lead role.

In her twitter page, Hearst did not include Dogs in the Pocketbooks as one of her upcoming acting projects,"As for any theatrical roles I am currently filming Two Jacks directed by Bernard Rose. My next project is Catwalk by Tony Hickox...At this time I am not officially signed onto any other projects."

The agent of the actress confirmed that the producers of the movie offered her the project but Hearst haven’t made her decision yet and she still need to read the script.

Early Tuesday, Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina Lohan threatened to file legal charges against the producers of the movie. She argued that they are using Lindsay’s likeness without being any compensation. The Lohan family lawyer Stephanie Ovadia believed they have a strong case.

This is probably the primary reason why Lydia Hearst offers no comment regarding the acting role being offered to her by the Dogs in the Pocketbooks producers.

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan said that suing the movie producers is absurd. He blames the lawyer for enticing Dina to file charges. He believes that they can’t stop the project if they’re making a satire.

Charles Casillo, screenwriter of the movie explained that Dogs in Pocketbooks is not a biography rather a fiction and a satire on celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and even the late Hollywood goddesses Marilyn Monroe and Jean Harlow.
