'Lost' Stars Found On New Shows: Where Are They Now?

'Lost' Stars Found On New Shows: Where Are They Now? At this time last year, "Lost" fans were enjoying (in the frustrating way that a fan enjoys "Lost") the final season of the hit show.

Since then, the stars we grew to know as the Oceanic survivors, most of whom were unknowns when the show started, have moved on to other projects. So where are they now?

Our dueling protoganists (and sometimes antagonists) Matthew Fox (Jack) and Terry O'Quinn (Locke) had opposing views in  the show, and have taken different paths outside of "Lost" as well.

O'Quinn is set to appear in the pilot for ABC's musical show "Hallelujah" (along with Michael Emerson, who played Ben Linus) while Fox has taken to the stage in a West End production of a Neil LaBute play. Just last month, Fox announced that he may quit film and TV acting altogether due to the lack of quality in "gratuitous entertainment," but he has been rumored to be cast in the 2012 release "Mass Effect."

The other Oceanic survivors are more optimistic about the future of entertainment and are attached to a number of TV and movie projects. Here are a few quick hits:

  • Jorge Garcia (Hurley) will be appearing in the TV movie "Alcatraz" and recently had cameos on "How I Met Your Mother" and "Mr. Sunshine."
  • Josh Holloway (Sawyer) will have a role in the upcoming "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and w ill appear in the season finale of Community, which will feature a reprise of the paintball tournament!
  • Evangeline Lilly will be starring along with Hugh Jackman in the futuristic boxing movie "Real Steel," and of course is the current face of L'Oreal.
  • Other "Lost" stars that have already completed or are in the middle of other projects include Emilie de Ravin, who appeared with Robert Pattinson in "Remember Me," Daniel Dae Kim who stars in the reboot of "Hawaii Five-O," and Ian Somerhalder who is a regular on "The Vampire Diaries."
