Lost and Found: Nicolas Cage Reunited With Stolen $1M Superman Comic

You know that show "Storage Wars" on A&E, the one where people bid on the unknown contents of storage lockers? Well, a Los Angeles man hit the million dollar jackpot--literally--when he bought an abandoned unit and found a comic book valued at over $1 million inside.

There's only one problem...the comic was stolen, and it belongs to none other than Nicolas Cage.

Yes, the "National Treasure" star has some treasures of his own, as the actor is a huge comic book fan and is known for having a great collection.

The prize of any comic book fan's collection would be a high-quality issue of Action Comics #1, which has the first-ever appearance of Superman...and it's that very same comic book that was stolen from Cage.

A team of authenticators, including the man who originally sold Cage the comic book, verified its authenticity and determined that it was the same comic that was stolen from Cage back in 2000.

So the man (who wants to remain unidentified) who found the comic in the San Fernando Valley storage unit won't be able to claim it as his property. It's a tragedy...his story would have put any episode of "Storage Wars" to shame.
