LL Cool J Takes Down Burglar: Lindsay Lohan Sweats a Little

LL Cool J just earned official bada** status.

The 44-year-old rapper and “NCIS: Los Angeles” star, whose actual name is James Todd Smith (but let’s face it, Ladies Love is just a little more fitting), had a rather terrifying moment when a burglar broke into his Los Angeles home.

Big mistake on the part of the intruder, a 58-year-old white male who remained unidentified.

Cool J was sleeping upstairs when he was awoken by suspicious noises at around 2 a.m. Upon investigating, he confronted the man who had broken into his home.

Cool J detained the burglar, which, on the burglar’s part, resulted in some “minor bruising” after the well-built actor “struck” him, according to E! News. He restrained him and then called 911.

Police arrived, and booked the man on suspicion of burglary. He was also treated at the hospital for his injuries, while the sexy star was unharmed.

Why the man chose to rob the house of one of the most cut actors around, rather than bust into, say, Macaulay Culkin’s pad, remains a mystery.

But Cool J’s got a soft side too. Recently five lady fans who had gotten a few autographs and pictures with the hot star at a restaurant found that the actor had also picked up their considerable tab at the end of the night.

Adorable and protective? “LL” indeed.
