Lindsay Lohan Rejects Offer From 'Dancing With The Stars'
by Shannon KeirnanSorry, ABC. Lindsay Lohan is a serious actress. Didn’t you see “Liz & Dick?”
Lohan has reportedly turned down an offer to appear on “Dancing with the Stars,” because, well, reality television is just so beneath her.
And it’s not a shabby offer, either. Word is producers offered the redhead $550,000… which is about four-to-five times what other contestants usually rake in.
Let’s face it. That would go a long way toward clearing up her debt—which is in the hundred-thousands. Charlie Sheen can’t do everything for you, Lohan.
Lohan apparently counted on her appearances in “Liz & Dick,” the Lifetime stinker, as well as laughable “The Canyons” to repair her reputation.
However “The Canyons” is getting no love from serious filmmakers. Literally. The dud was rejected from both Sundance Film Festival and South by Southwest, due to “quality issues.”
Somehow the quality just didn’t get put in there. I think that's the issue.
“The Canyons” director Paul Schrader admits, “In a way it's good we're not at Sundance. We weren't prepared, we weren't organized."
“Organized?" Well played, Schrader.
After building a reputation for hard partying, no-shows, and overall lack of professionalism on set, Lohan is now being considered “unhireable.” Is it too late for a comeback?
Ann Romney also turned down an offer from “Dancing with the Stars” last week, saying "No, thanks."
Reps for the popular show would only note that they can’t comment on casting.
Would you like to see Lindsay Lohan on “DWTS,” or was her brief stint stripping on “I Know Who Killed Me” enough of Lohan’s dancing to last you?
