Lindsay Lohan to Dad Michael: 'Why the Hell Are You Doing Celebrity Rehab?'

Like father, like daughter... or is it like daughter, like father?

Either way, Radaronline.com is reporting that Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, has signed on for the next season of "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."

Lohan exclusively told the outlet, "I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team."

The actress continued, "I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging."

Lilo is apparently "shocked and upset" to hear her father is involved with the show and even more unhappy filming has already commenced.

Friends of Lindsay Lohan say the real reason behind her distress is her fear that Papa Lohan will embarrass the family.

We wonder, can his stint on the VH-1 show be any more embarrassing then her alleged jewelry heist, four stints in rehab or her hard time at Century Regional Detention Facility?

For years Lilo and her estranged father have had a rocky relationship and it doesn't sound like it will be getting better any time soon.
