Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge's Bling Ring Burglar Gets Jail With Plea

Lindsay Lohan Bling Ring Robbers Look on the bright side, kid: two years is a decent amount of time to ponder just where the crime went wrong.

That's how long E! News reports 21-year-old Bling Ring burglar Nicholas Prugo will be spending behind bars after pleading no-contest to stealing from famous marks Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge.

Prugo copped the plea today to a two-year prison term and testimony against his three accomplices in exchange for prosecutors dropping the burglary charges he faced for breaking into the homes of Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom and Paris Hilton. He'll also owe eventual restitution for the stolen goods' collective value.

And how much would that be, you ask? Well, with the help of his three co-conspirators, Prugo lifted luxury jewelry, clothes, watches and other items valued right around $3 million total.

In the meantime, remember, you can soon learn all about this whole sordid affair at your friendly neighborhood multiplex. "Lost In Translation" director Sofia Coppola will write and direct a film, titled "Bling Ring," all about the big-money break-ins. And reportedly attached to star, as of Thursday? None other than "Harry Potter" alum Emma Watson, who E! News speculates might play co-conspirator Alexis Neiers, who did 30 days in jail for her part in the crimes.

Sorry, kid. With your luck, you're getting stuck with Shia Labeouf in a bad wig.

Oh, crime pays - it's just not paying you.
