'The Lincoln Lawyer' Continuing as a TV Show

Can't get enough of "The Lincoln Lawyer?" Saw it 20 times in theaters, but need to see more of it? You're probably alone on that one, but here's some good news for you, superfan: you're about to get more "Lincoln Lawyer."

ABC is reportedly developing the Matthew McConaughey movie into a new TV show. The show will likely be a fairly standard legal procedural, as the Lincoln Lawyer and his trusty towncar take on a new case each week.

There should be plenty of wiggle room on the series for at least a while, considering the fact that Michael Connelly, who wrote the "Lincoln Lawyer" novel on which the movie is based, has put out five novels in the series. That's a good chunk of source material to work from in terms of providing through-lines for seasons.

For now, only the script has been ordered, so the show has plenty more hurdles to jump before it becomes a full series. But considering the critical success and solid earnings of the movie and the renewable nature of the show, ABC is not likely to pass on it.

That leaves one big question: who will take over the role for Matthew McConaughey?
