Liberty Ross Files For Divorce From Rupert Sanders

Six months after the scandal of the director and his actress, Liberty Ross has filed for divorce against her husband, Rupert Sanders.

The “Snow White and the Huntsman” director raised a stir after photographs surfaced of him snuggling and kissing his star, Kristen Stewart… who was also dating “Twilight” favorite Robert Pattinson at the time.

Stewart and Pattinson broke up and have since reconciled, but while Sanders and Ross reportedly went through counseling to work out their differences, the indiscretion was too much for their marriage.

Ross, who is a model and also appears in “Snow White and the Huntsman” as young Snow White’s mother (yikes), filed for divorce Friday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, after ten years of marriage.

Ross, 34 is asking for joint custody of her children, Skyla, 5, and Tennyson, 7. She is also asking for spousal support and attorney’s fees.

Sanders, 41, has also asked for joint custody of Skyla and Tennyson, and requests to share half of the attorney fees with his soon-to-be-ex.

A friend of the model told Us Weekly, “This was a long time coming.”

Word has it that while Sanders was eager to repair his relationship and avoid divorce, Ross only agreed to try for the sake of her children.

Another friend added that, “They gave it a shot for the kids [but] she was just so angry… she’s the kind of person who wouldn’t really ever get over it.”

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Pattinson, who gave Stewart a trial period to work on their relationship, is leaning toward a proposal.
