Lena Dunham Joins 'American Horror Story' Cast

Lena Dunham is joining the upcoming seventh season of FX's American Horror Story, according to series showrunner Ryan Murphy.
Murphy tweeted the news Wednesday.
Dunham will appear in one episode, her reps told The Hollywood Reporter.
Murphy previously revealed to Andy Cohen the next season "is going to be about the election that we just went through so I think that will be interesting for a lot of people."
Murphy later told THR: "What I’m interested in doing is not just the obvious, single-minded point of view but rather express all sides of that equation. What needs to happen in our country now is for people to listen to each other — we may not always agree with each other and we may be horrified by what the other side is doing but we have to move toward understanding."
