Leann Rimes Enters Rehab

Leann Rimes Enters Rehab Hold the phone, another celebrity is in rehab!

Well, “celebrity” might be using the term a little loosely at this point.

Leann Rimes, who is famous for her gorgeous voice ten years ago, being somewhat of a homewrecker, and making a minor “Drop Dead Diva” appearance, has entered rehab.

But the itty-bitty bony lady hasn’t gone in for eating disorder treatment, as many of us might have been expecting, but to be treated for “anxiety and stress,” according to her publicist.

You know what helps me when I’m stressed? Brownies. Just saying, Leann. Couldn’t hurt.

She entered the undisclosed program a day after celebrating her 30th birthday—an event in itself worthy of serious stress and anxiety, but her insulting Twitter battle with a defender of husband Eddie Cibrian’s ex probably isn’t helping the matter.

“While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms,” her publicist added. I’m telling you—double chocolate, girl.

Rimes “hopes that the program will help her learn how to face life’s challenges with a stronger and more positive outlook,” E! reports.

“This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be,” Rimes is quoted as saying.

Husband Cibrian promises to “be with her every step of the way.”

Well, here’s hoping that Rimes gets what she needs, and that this isn’t any kind of publicity stunt on her part. If Rimes comes out of this happy and hopefully a few pounds heavier (what kind of cafeterias are there in these kinds of places?), it’ll be considered a success.
